Littleton boasts a wide variety of attractions for people of all ages.  Boasting with over 40 miles of playgrounds, nature centers, recreational & community centers, and more; residents as well as tourists are provided with countless hours of indoor and outdoor activities.  (Swimming pools, ice arenas, batting cages, 83 athletic fields, 61 tennis courts3;)  Spend an afternoon "teeing" off at the Lone Tree Golf Club, an 18 hole executive course designed by Arnold Palmer.  The South Suburban Parks and Recreation District gives way to over 3,000 miles of parklands and over 100 miles of open trails for hiking, biking, or simply strolling through nature.  Enjoy many of the social events and festivals held throughout the entire year. 

 

The Littleton School District #6 is home to 23 of the finest educational facilities.  There are more than 16,000 children attending grades K-12.  The Arapahoe Community College offers seventy Associate degree programs for post-secondary education as well as the nearby University of Colorado at Denver and the University of Denver.
